2. Source of the data

All salary and benefit figures are sourced from the Government of Ontario's Public Sector Salary Disclosure (the "Sunshine List"), published annually under the Public Sector Salary Disclosure Act, 1996. This information is public by law and is released by the Government of Ontario. We reproduce and index it without alteration of the underlying figures; any corrections we apply are limited to fixing character-encoding and formatting issues in the source files.

3. Public information

The disclosed amounts relate to compensation paid by public sector employers and are public information. This site does not publish any private or confidential data. If you believe a record is inaccurate, the authoritative correction must be made by the relevant employer or the Government of Ontario at the source.
